Job Description:
NYC based SFO seeking a seasoned Chief Investment Officer (CIO) with extensive connections and allocation experience in alternative investments and longer lock-up funds. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and allocating investments in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital funds, and real estate funds.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement investment strategies for the family office.
Oversee the allocation of investments in alternative assets and longer lock-up funds.
Conduct due diligence on potential co investment opportunities.
Monitor and manage the performance of the investment portfolio.
Liaise with investment managers and other stakeholders
Provide regular investment reports to the family office.
Implementation of software based reporting platforms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. An MBA or CFA is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, with a focus on alternative investments.
Proven experience in allocating investments in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital funds, and real estate funds.
Strong analytical skills and ability to make informed investment decisions.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
